• Description: 3-Methoxy-2-methylaniline is an arylamine that is used as a cytotoxic agent. It has significant cytotoxic activity and is used in clinical trials to treat cancer. 3-Methoxy-2-methylaniline can be synthesized from the condensation of acetaldehyde with nitrobenzene, followed by reduction with sodium borohydride.
