The methyl 3-aminosulfonyl-2-thiopene carboxylate is a chemical compound that can be synthesized by the diazotization of methylamine and thiourea followed by cyclization with sodium methoxide. The cyclization reaction can also be done in two steps, first with phosgene and then with methoxide. The target product is a sulfonyl isocyanate.
