Description

Methyl cyclopentane carboxylate is an imidazopyrazine derivative and a potent inhibitor of the enzyme serine protease. It has been shown that methyl cyclopentane carboxylate inhibits inflammation in vitro and in vivo. This drug also has anti-cancer activity, as it inhibits cancer cell proliferation by inhibiting the growth of cells through a receptor-mediated mechanism. Methyl cyclopentane carboxylate is not active against all types of cancer, and its activity may be limited by its low solubility in water.
