Informations sur le produit
[(4-Methylphenyl)amino]acetic acid is a hydrophobic small molecule that binds to the protein annexin. It has been shown to bind to the same site as calcium and chloride ions, which are required for the binding of annexin with its natural ligand, phospholipid. [(4-Methylphenyl)amino]acetic acid also inhibits protein-protein interactions in vitro. The drug was synthesised and tested in vivo, with no significant side effects observed. This drug interacts with a pharmacophore on annexins and blocks the interaction of these proteins with phospholipids. The drug is not an ion channel blocker and does not interact with any other target proteins.
