Description :
4-Methyl-2-piperidin-1-ylpyrimidine-5-carboxylic acid is a carboxylic acid that is used as a pre-sowing regulator in the production of plants. It regulates the germination process by inhibiting growth regulators, such as ethylene, which causes the plant to grow at an accelerated rate. 4MPPCA inhibits the production of fatty acids and has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on seedling growth. The chemical compound also regulates herbaceous plants.
