• Description: 5-Methylquinolin-8-ol is a natural compound that has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the growth of diarrhoea-causing bacteria. It also inhibits bacterial morphology by binding to the enzyme at a different site from where it would bind if it were not bound by 5-Methylquinolin-8-ol.
