2-(Methacryloyloxy)ethyl phthalate monoester is a cross-linking agent that can be used in tissue culture. It is activated by light and has been shown to increase the efficiency of energy production in cells. Several clinical studies have shown that this product can lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. 2-(Methacryloyloxy)ethyl phthalate monoester has also been shown to be an effective treatment for inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, psoriasis, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, and Parkinson's disease.
