Description

5-Methoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-amine is a hydrogen chloride recemic that can be synthesized by reducing an imine with hydrogen and acid. 5-Methoxy-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-amine has been shown to have immobilizing properties when immobilized on a surface. Immobilization can be achieved through the use of functional groups that are able to form strong bonds with the surface. The amines of the molecule react with the surface and become covalently bonded to it. This property allows for 5-methoxy-1,2,3,4 tetrahydronaphthalen-2 amine to be used in industrial applications such as manufacturing paper or textiles.
