Description

Mollugin is a natural compound that has been shown to be effective in the treatment of kidney injury. It is a mixture of dextran sulfate and other compounds, such as natural products, and is used to treat kidney injury by inhibiting the activation of toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) signaling pathways. Mollugin has also been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects. Mollugin was found to inhibit the production of proinflammatory cytokines, such as IL-6 and TNF-α, in a dose-dependent manner. Mollugin is also able to induce apoptosis in tumor cells through an anthraquinone derivative pathway.
Mollugin can be used for the treatment of squamous cell carcinoma, which is a type of cancer that starts in the cells lining the inside or outside surfaces of organs or body cavities.
