Description :
3-Methoxy-4-methylphenylboronic acid is a cross-coupling catalyst that has been shown to be very effective in coupling reactions involving heteroaryl, arylboronic acids, and sterically hindered bromides. It is an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of carboxylic acids from arylboronic acids and bromides. 3-Methoxy-4-methylphenylboronic acid has also been used to catalyze the coupling of heteroarenes with organometallic reagents such as palladium, nickel, or copper.
