2-(4-Methoxyphenyl)propan-2-ol is a synthetic compound that is found in the cannabis plant. It has been shown to have anticancer activity, as well as other medicinal properties. The optical isomers of this compound are nabilone and δ9-THC. The former has been used in the treatment of glaucoma patients, while the latter has shown to produce dysphoria and anxiety. 2-(4-Methoxyphenyl)propan-2-ol also has neurological effects, such as analgesic and anti-inflammatory activities.
