(4-Methoxybenzyl)hydrazine is a chemical compound that has been used as an excipient in pharmaceuticals. It has been shown to be an effective buffer against acidic and alkaline conditions. (4-Methoxybenzyl)hydrazine also interacts with aluminum, cinnamic, chloride, and inorganic acids. This compound can be used for the production of nitroso compounds or phosphoric acids and nitrogen atoms.
