Description

2'-((5-(4-Methylpiperazin-1-yl)pyridin-2-yl)amino)-7',8'-dihydro-6'H-spiro[cyclohexane-1,9'-pyrazino[1',2':1,5]pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimid in]-6'-one is a potent inhibitor of CDK4/CDK6 and has been shown to be an effective treatment for cancer. It inhibits the phosphatase activity of these enzymes and prevents the activation of cyclin D. This inhibition leads to cell cycle arrest at the G0/G1 phase.
