Informations sur le produit
- 3-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-5-Methylisoxazole-4-Carboxylic Acid
3-(4-Methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl-4-isoxazolecarboxylic acid is a coplanar, benzene compound with dihedral angles of about 120°. It has a hydrogen bond acceptor at the carbonyl oxygen and two hydrogen bonds donors at the two methoxy groups. The molecule has a dimer in solution. A carboxylic acid group is present on one end of the molecule, which can be protonated to form an ionizable group. The isoxazole ring of 3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl-4-isoxazolecarboxylic acid contains nitrogen atoms that are capable of forming hydrogen bonds with neighboring molecules. This makes 3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-5-methyl-4-isoxazolecarboxylic acid a weak base and gives it acidic properties.
