• Description: 7-Methyloctanol is a polycarboxylic acid that is structurally similar to hydrochloric acid. It has been shown to have specific treatment effects on skin cells and light exposure, as well as an anti-inflammatory effect. 7-Methyloctanol is able to produce fatty acids by the hydroxylation of unsaturated alkyl chains, which are often used as plasticizers.
