Description :Methyl nicotinate is a compound that belongs to the group of nicotinic acid amides. It has antiinflammatory properties, which are due to its ability to inhibit prostaglandin synthesis. Methyl nicotinate has been shown to be effective in vitro and vivo models of diabetic neuropathy, as well as in vivo bioavailability studies. The conformational properties of methyl nicotinate were determined by a plate test method and a structural analysis was performed on the reaction solution. Methyl nicotinate can be synthesized from picolinic acid and methyl alcohol with the help of a viability model.
