Informations sur le produit
- Methyl 2-bromo-3-methylbutanoate
- Methyl 2-bromo-3-methylbutyrat
Methyl 2-bromoisovalerate is a potent inhibitor of oxetane formation, which is implicated in the termination of human erythrocyte activity. It has been shown to inhibit the c-terminal domain of the enzyme and binds to the phosphate ion in a 1:1 ratio. This compound has affinity for oxetanes with a hydroxyl group at the C-2 position and mimics physiological pH. Methyl 2-bromoisovalerate has shown low toxicity and good pharmacokinetics in humans.
