Description

4-Methylthiophenylboronic acid is a synthetic compound that is used as a building block in supramolecular chemistry. It has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells and has been used in the synthesis of selenium compounds that have anticancer activity. The conductances of 4-methylthiophenylboronic acid have been studied in detail, and it was found to be a molecule with an unusual structure.
