Description

5-Methyl-2-pyrazinemethanol is a diammonium imidazole derivative. It can be used as an antioxidant in the organic solvent industry, where it has been shown to have a protective effect on fats and oils. 5-Methyl-2-pyrazinemethanol is also used in the manufacture of dyes and pigments, which are applied to textiles and paper.
