Informations sur le produit
- 4-(2-Methoxyethoxy)Phenyl)Boronic Acid
4-(2-Methoxyethoxy)phenylboronic acid is a reactive probe that can be used in the detection and identification of chloride ions. It is a fluorescent compound that emits light when it reacts with chlorides. The fluorescence intensity increases with increasing concentrations of chloride ions. 4-(2-Methoxyethoxy)phenylboronic acid is also sensitive to amines, which are organic compounds that contain nitrogen. This probe will produce an intense fluorescence when it reacts with amines because they have a high affinity for the boron atom attached to the phenyl group. A sensor made from 4-(2-Methoxyethoxy)phenylboronic acid can be used to measure chloride ion concentrations in water or wastewater streams containing organic amines such as benzothiadiazole.
