Description

2-Morpholin-4-yl)aniline is a hydrogen bonding compound that has been shown to have cytotoxic properties. This drug inhibits the growth of cancer cells by interacting with functional groups on the cell membrane and forming hydrogen bonds, which prevents the transport of nutrients into the cell. 2-Morpholin-4-yl)aniline also inhibits cancer cells from dividing by inhibiting DNA synthesis. 2-Morpholin-4-yl)aniline has been shown to inhibit the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis and other bacteria through its antimycobacterial activity. The antimycobacterial activity is due to its ability to form nitro groups that react with amines in proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids, resulting in cell death.
