Description :
6-Methoxyquinazoline-2,4-diol is a quinazoline compound that belongs to the group of antagonists. It is a potent inhibitor of chemotaxis in mouse neutrophils and human polymorphonuclear leukocytes. 6-Methoxyquinazoline-2,4-diol has been shown to inhibit the migration of these cells by blocking the receptor for chemokines. This substance also blocks the binding of chemokine ligands to their receptors on cells and prevents the activation of intracellular signaling pathways.
