Informations sur le produit
- 1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid methyl ester
Methyl 1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate is a cytotoxic molecule that inhibits the growth of tumour cells. It has been shown to have a cytotoxic effect on tumour cell lines and to be more potent than either 5-formyluracil or cisplatin. Methyl 1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate binds to the DNA of tumour cells, preventing transcription and replication. This drug also inhibits enzymes such as DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, which maintain the integrity of bacterial DNA. The protonation of methyl 1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylate increases its cytotoxicity by disrupting the hydrogen bonds between water molecules in the hydrophobic pockets of proteins, destabilizing them and leading to their death.
