Informations sur le produit
- N-Me-L-Phe(4-NO2)-OHN-Me-p-nitro-L-Phe-OH
N-Methyl-4-nitro-L-phenylalanine (NMPPA) is an inhibitor of histidine decarboxylase and has been shown to inhibit the growth of Petroselinum crispum. NMPPA is a substrate for the enzyme phenylalanine hydroxylase, which converts it to 4-nitrophenol. This product also has inhibitory effects on methylamine dehydrogenase, which is involved in the metabolism of L-methylamine. Inhibition of this enzyme may result in accumulation of L-methylamine in the body.
