Description :
3-Methoxy-pyridine-2-carbaldehyde is a synthetic compound that has been shown to have antitumor properties in animal models. It is an inhibitor of the electron transport system, which leads to cell death by electron reduction. 3-Methoxy-pyridine-2-carbaldehyde has also been shown to be a potent inhibitor of chiral pyridines, such as l1210, and has potential for use in selective screening assays for chiral compounds.
