5-(4-Methylphenyl)isoxazole is a thiosemicarbazide used in the synthesis of heterocycles and palladium complexes. It can be synthesized by the reaction sequence of hydroxylamine and thiourea, which is catalyzed by PdCl 2 . The recyclization reaction sequence of 5-(4-methylphenyl)isoxazole is shown in Figure 1.
