Description

Marein is a growth factor-β1 that has been shown to have multiple biological properties. Marein stimulates the production of epidermal growth factor and the proliferation of K562 cells. It also increases intracellular calcium levels, inhibits the activity of acetylcholinesterase, and enhances liver regeneration in rats. Marein also has anti-oxidant properties, which may be due to its ability to scavenge free radicals and inhibit lipid peroxidation. Marein is a natural compound derived from plants or fungi that has been shown to have various beneficial effects on health.
