Description

Myricetin is a natural flavonoid that is found in many fruits and vegetables. It has been shown to inhibit the enzyme telomerase, which is involved in the transfer of DNA from one cell to another. Telomerase inhibition prevents the replication of cells, thereby inhibiting tumor growth. Myricetin also inhibits the production of cancer-causing substances, such as taxifolin, which is produced by plants. Myricetin can also be used to treat heart disease and other conditions.
