Description

1-Methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-amine is a potential drug candidate that has been synthesized and pharmacokinetically studied. It has shown to have a low toxicity in rats and mice, with no observed adverse effects in the liver, kidneys, heart, or blood. This compound interacts with proteins involved in cancer cell growth by inhibiting protein kinase activity. 1-Methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-amine is selective for the cdc2 kinase over other kinases such as PKC or p38 MAPK. The reaction time of 1-Methyl-1H-pyrazol-3-amine is faster than that of SB203580; however, it does not inhibit any other kinases at this time.
