Informations sur le produit
Methylprotogracillin is a polymeric substance that can be extracted from the acetate extract of Acacia spp. and has been shown to inhibit transcription-polymerase chain reaction (PCR) in vitro. It has also been shown to be effective as an anticancer drug when it is given in conjunction with dioscin, which is a saponin found in plants such as Solanum nigrum, S. dulcamara, and S. triflorum. Methylprotogracillin inhibits tumor growth by inhibiting DNA synthesis and protein synthesis, which prevents cell division and eventually leads to cell death. The toxicity of this drug has been studied extensively in various animal models, but no adverse effects have been seen up to doses of 1g/kg body weight.
