Description

Neuromedin U-23 (rat) is a peptide that belongs to the family of tachykinins, which are small neuropeptides that act as neurotransmitters in the central nervous system. It is a potent stimulator of intestinal motility and has been shown to have protective effects against oxidative stress in cells. Neuromedin U-23 (rat) shares sequence similarity with human neuromedin N-19 and binds to the same receptors in the brain, suggesting it may have similar physiological effects.
