Description

Norandrostenedione is a prohormone that is produced in the body from testosterone. It has been shown to have genotoxic effects in vivo and inhibitory properties against pharmaceutical preparations. Norandrostenedione also inhibits infectious diseases by binding to the matrix effect of bacteria, such as Streptococcus pyogenes and Staphylococcus aureus. Norandrostenedione also has an apoptotic effect on human cells, which may be due to its ability to increase intracellular calcium concentration.
