Description :
R-(-)-Norapomorphine hydrochloride is a chiral drug that belongs to the group of dopamine receptor ligands. It has been shown to bind to the D2 dopamine receptor in rat striatal tissue and inhibit uptake of [3H]dopamine. The antifungal activity of R-(-)-norapomorphine hydrochloride has been demonstrated in vitro. This compound also inhibits the growth of Aporphine, a fungus that causes deadly infections in immunocompromised patients.
