Description :
1-Nonyne is an acetate extract that can be synthesized from cyclooctyne and isovaleric acid. It contains an asymmetric synthesis of a hydroxyl group and alkynyl group, which are essential to the molecule. The 1-nonyne molecule has been shown to be useful in diagnostic tests for the covid-19 pandemic, as well as in fatty acids and carbon source production. The unsaturated ketones present in this molecule have also been shown to have antioxidant properties.
