4-Nitro-2-aminophenol-6-sulfonic acid is an organic compound that is a member of the class of sulfonic acids. It has the chemical formula of CHNO, and its molecular weight is 154.11 g/mol. This chemical can be found in the environment as a result of formaldehyde oxidation and salicylic acid decomposition. 4-Nitro-2-aminophenol-6-sulfonic acid has been used in the manufacture of acetoacetates, formaldehydes, and acrylic acids.
