Description

Neopentylamine is an amine that is used as a chemical intermediate for the production of other compounds. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties, which may be due to its inhibition of lipoprotein lipase and cholesterol esterase. Neopentylamine also inhibits inflammatory reactions by blocking the formation of pro-inflammatory molecules such as nitric oxide.
Neopentylamine can form hydrogen bonds with water vapor and chlorine atoms, which are important in its ability to inhibit the formation of pro-inflammatory molecules. The nitrogen atoms in neopentylamine are responsible for its ability to inhibit lipoprotein lipase and cholesterol esterase.
