Description :7-Nitroindole-2-carboxylic acid is a molecule that has been shown to inhibit the activity of cytidine deaminase, an enzyme involved in the synthesis of DNA. This drug also inhibits the replication of dna and can be used for the treatment of cancer. 7-Nitroindole-2-carboxylic acid binds to basic proteins and has a helical structure.
