Description :
2-Naphthylacetonitrile is a fluorescent compound that has been used in the development of new organic chemists. It is a red fluorescent compound with a maximum absorption at 517 nm and emission at 631 nm. 2-Naphthylacetonitrile has been shown to be an active enzyme, with activity against carboxylesterase, RNA polymerase, and ADP ribosylation factor type 1. The substance also exhibits alkylation and optical properties that are similar to those of naphthalene.
