3-Nitrodiphenyl is an aromatic hydrocarbon that is used as a medicine and a reagent. It is also used in the production of other compounds. This compound can be found in high concentrations in the environment due to its use in pesticides and herbicides. 3-Nitrodiphenyl has been shown to react with anilines to produce biphenyl, which is a reaction product.
