Description

Oxasulfuron is a herbicide that is used to control weeds in the fields of cotton, soybean, and other crops. Oxasulfuron inhibits the synthesis of epidermal growth factor and can cause hepatic steatosis. It also has an effect on hematologic response, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the production of inflammatory cytokines. Oxasulfuron is used for diagnostic purposes, such as determining the antimicrobial activity of antibiotics against infectious diseases.
