Description

Oxadiazon-hydroxy is a pesticide that belongs to the group of triazines. It is a flammable, colorless liquid with an odor described as fruity or chlorinous. Oxadiazon-hydroxy can be used in high yield and has been shown to be effective in treating pests on crops. This pesticide is synthesized by reacting an inorganic base with an organic chloride in the presence of a catalyst. Oxadiazon-hydroxy is often used in combination with other pesticides such as dicofol and chlorpyrifos, which are both organophosphates.
