Description :Octadecylphosphoethanolamine is a phospholipid that belongs to the group of fatty acids. It has been shown to inhibit cancer cells by acting as an antiestrogen and co-stimulatory molecule. Octadecylphosphoethanolamine also inhibits the growth of bacteria by binding to the bacterial membrane and inducing a change in its permeability, which leads to cell death. This fatty acid has also been shown to be effective in treating diabetes mellitus type II by lowering glucose levels.
