Description :2-Oxazolidinone is a type of drug that has been shown to have anti-cancer effects. It is also an antimicrobial agent that inhibits the growth of bacteria by reacting with hydroxyl groups in the bacterial cell membrane, which prevents the synthesis of lipids and protein. 2-Oxazolidinone has been shown to be effective against Candida albicans and other fungi, as well as Mycobacterium tuberculosis. 2-Oxazolidinone has been used in vitro to inhibit cellular physiology, such as inflammation and inflammatory diseases.
