Description :
4-Oxo-2-azetidinecarboxylic acid is a glucuronide conjugate of 4-oxo-2-azetidinol that has been shown to inhibit serine protease and cholesterol acyltransferase. It also has significant cytotoxicity against human breast cancer cells, and can be used in the treatment of sitosterolemia and molecular modeling studies. This compound is an antiinflammatory agent with significant effects on the metabolism of fatty acids.
