Description :
3-Octyl Acetate is a potential use for the prevention or treatment of dental cavities. It has been found to inhibit the growth of endophytic fungi, which are fungi that live inside plants and generally do not cause any harm to the plant. 3-Octyl Acetate is also a potential use for treating endometriosis. This chemical has been shown to inhibit the membrane potential in cells, which may lead to an increase in cell death. 3-Octyl Acetate can be used as an additive in polyethylene glycols to reduce the risk of headspace and ether extracts.
