Description

Perfluoro-2-methyl-2-pentene is a fluorinated, fluoroalkyl compound with a chemical formula of C6H8F12. It is a colorless liquid that has been shown to have antibacterial activity. The molecule's structure consists of two perfluorinated chains and one methyl group. Perfluoro-2-methyl-2-pentene's surface properties are derived from its chemical reaction with quinoline derivatives and inorganic compounds.
