Phloroglucinol is a dinucleotide phosphate that reacts with hydrogen bonding interactions. The chemical biology of phloroglucinol includes its ability to cause synchronous fluorescence at high concentrations. Phloroglucinol also possesses sodium citrate-dependent intermolecular hydrogen bonding properties.
