Informations sur le produit
Nom:4-Phenoxybenzoylchloride
Marque:Biosynth
Description :4-phenoxybenzoylchloride is an amide that is used in the industrial production of polymers. It has been used in biological studies to investigate the reaction mechanism of Friedel-Crafts reactions. 4-Phenoxybenzoylchloride can be prepared by reacting biphenyl or diphenyl ether with hydrogen chloride or hydrogen fluoride in the presence of a base such as sodium hydroxide. The Friedel-Crafts acylation reaction involves the addition of an acyl chloride to an aromatic ring, which leads to alkylation of the ring's benzene ring. This reaction can be carried out in a biphasic system consisting of water and organic solvent, with a solid catalyst such as aluminum chloride. Acetaminophen-induced hepatotoxicity is a serious adverse effect that occurs after ingestion of acetaminophen (paracetamol). This toxicity is characterized by necrosis and inflammation, which can lead to liver failure and death.
