The chloride ions are also capable of reacting with hydrogen peroxide to form hydrochloric acid, which can lead to cell death when it enters the cell through the membrane. Pyridine-2-sulfonic acid has been found to be effective against a range of cancers including colon, prostate, breast, lung, and pancreas cancers.
