Description :
Pyridazine-4,5-dicarboxylic acid is a cyclic polycarboxylic acid with two phenyl groups. It has an inhibitory effect on pyrazine-2-carboxylic acid, which is a precursor of melanin. Pyridazine-4,5-dicarboxylic acid also inhibits the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting the synthesis of mononucleotides and polyacrylamide chains in DNA.
